Io il primo album di Mika l'ho adorato. A parte il tormentone Grace Kelly, le canzoni mi sono piaciute proprio tutte. Come ho letto da qualche parte sul web, Mika è il re del "poppish"!
Ho ascoltato solo oggi il suo nuovo singolo "WE ARE GOLDEN" e ho trovato commenti entusiasti alla gioiosa leggerezza e spensieratezza di musica e testo. Premesso che noi italiani "gnoranti" quando cantiamo una canzone in inglese badiamo più a "come suona" che a cosa stiamo dicendo, di certo questa canzone regala un'atmosfera realmente spensierata, MA:
- non vi ricorda da vicino una canzone "già sentita"? Sì lo so, le note sono sette e questa è una caratteristica di qualsiasi canzone molto orecchiabile....ma a me ricorda tanto il famoso tormentone di Belinda Carlisle... - il testo è davvero così leggero e giocoso come dicono?Io alcune frasi le trovo un po' più serie di quello che sembra dire la musica....
